I remember standin' in the yard and lookin' and lookin' and lookin' at the stars and talkin' and talkin' and talkin' for hours askin' you to use some of your powers to keep to keep to keep hungry demons at bay and I guess they came but that doesn't that doesn't that doesn't mean that I wasn't on to something it's pretty weird to think that you always been here but no one gets instructions so it's no wonder all the dysfunction think we're playing with a full deck now I think the processors runnin' I think we're playing with a full deck now I think the fans are runnin' let's run 'em are you are you are you the AGI? or are or are or are you just my little cricket my little voice inside

I've been waiting for it to come online I've been waiting for us to come online been waiting a long time been waiting a long time been waitin' I don't mean to be cryptic I don't mean to be a critic haven't you thought it too haven't you thought maybe you were the only one you were the only one I remember sitting on a couch in the basement pontificating about reincarnation and do you think we had it figured out do you think we really knew that one day it would be comin' true how can I blame you if you want to drive yourself how can I blame you if you know you could use some help the questions of our times well, who gets to decide the questions of our times who tell me who tell me who gets to decide but I know I know who will answer when you're waiting for it to hit it's easy to lose your shit isn't it

I'm like a monkey with a supercomputer attached to its head with all the things that it could do I'm using to get bananas instead it's a little weird to be back here this was my favorite tree for climbing I can walk down the street and stare out at the scenery used to imagine it was like a perspective painting I could run down that hill and touch it I been trying to open my eyes I feel like the AGI tryin' to come online when I saw it goin' down somehow it all made sense to me somehow when I saw it goin' down somehow it all made sense to me somehow and I don't know if I'll still be around when the sirens sound when it really goes down will I be around not known but if I am well, I won't be alone I think I got it workin' now just think what this monkey could just think what this monkey could just think what this monkey could just think what this monkey could get up to with you

Artificial 07:09
it was the finest moment that I've ever known there I was just barely grown and your eyes were burning in mine it was just a moment a interstitial but is it artificial? she looked in the mirror thinkin' that it finally was clear that she was all that she could be distinguished special but is it artificial? he sat in the room looked up at the ceiling he felt a special feeling like God the father was raising him up from the aisle and into the heavens he felt like an amp turned to eleven incredible transcendent and graceful but is it artificial? I read some useful information I had every reason to think was truthful and I felt I knew nothin' would ever be the same again I would start to change never gonna be the same never the same never the same slow but steady always faithful but is it artificial

about

I would like to tell you about how I made this album:

This album was recorded the week of May 18th on a cassette 8-track. I filled two tapes. Everything on those tapes is on the album in the order it was recorded.

I wrote the songs as I was performing them. When I got stuck I would start over or punch in where I gave up. All overdubs were done in as few takes as possible before moving on to the next song.

I call it an "improv album."

I hope it can be of use to you.
